Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT IS THE UI CUBE?

UI Cube uses Electromagnetic stimulation for muscle contraction which is much higher than what typically the body can achieve through exercise. UI Cube is a revolutionary new machine and breakthrough treatment for incontinence and confidence.

WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

UI Cube was developed to treat weakened pelvic floor muscles and urinary incontinence using ground breaking Electromagnetic Stimulation Technology. This technology utilises a magnetic field that is generated by a pulse that stimulates peripheral nerves to elicit contractions in target muscles. These involuntary contractions number in the tens of thousands each treatment, helping important muscles to strengthen to better support the surrounding structures of the body.

WHY UI CUBE?

special magnetic field is generated by a pulse of current inside the Electro-Magnetic Mechanism, and this induces a current that triggers the motor nerve system of the body, stimulating the targeted muscles to contract, and helping to boost circulation and nutrition.

WHO IS IT SUITABLE FOR?

The treatment is suitable for all types of urinary and fecal incontinence. It is used for faster rehabilitation after surgeries in the urogenital area, after childbirth and for some sexual dysfunction and chronic pelvic and lower back pain. You will complete a questionnaire and receive a physical examination as part of your assessment for treatment.

WHAT IS THE TREATMENT COURSE?

For effective treatment, we recommend 6 – 10 treatments. Therapy is performed two or three times per week for thirty minutes. UI Cube is a highly tolerable treatment.

DOES IT HURT?

The sensation is new to most patients, contracting muscles at a fast and effective rate without causing discomfort. No pain management is involved in the treatment.

IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?

UI Cube is an in and out procedure, non-invasive and no downtime. Treatments take from 30 minutes and patients can return to their normal routine after their treatment. UI Cube is suitable for anyone who wants to tone and strengthen pelvic floor muscle.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF THIS TECHNOLOGY?

- Allows deep penetration into tissue
- Allows stimulation of deep muscle structures that cannot be reached by other modalities
- Painless, non invasive and thus suitable for patients where other technologies cannot be used
- Effectively stimulates muscle tissue without direct skin contact
- No negative side effects are known in the literature as long as contraindications are taken into account

"I have needed to do a review on Body Evolution's newest product, the UI CUBE (I call it the chair). First of all, a little background, I have two children, I have had prolapse, prolapse surgery, very weak bladder which I have been going to a women’s private physio for treatment (when I sneezed and was needing to go wees, I would have to cross my legs), returned prolapse. Around 5 months ago Annalise introduced the chair and offered it to her community, after her explaining what it could help, I jumped on board. And oh, my goodness, so glad I did!!! This thing is revolutionary, I no longer need to go wees, as soon as I feel the urge, it has helped strengthen my muscles in my vagina I really can't explain through a review, but if you want to know details please just ask, I would be happy to tell you. Just imagine 12,000 Kegel exercises in 30 minutes times 10, yip Ladies you got my drift! Huge, massive, life changing game changer, in more ways than you can imagine. After seeing my gynaecologist this week and her asking what I have been doing? (After examination) she told me things had changed and that she was highly impressed and couldn't believe the change. So what I am really saying here is if you are suffering with any one of these things, talk to Annalise and see whether the chair could be for you, get these life changing results, those who know me know I do not talk shit about things I don't believe in. Thanks, Annalise, for helping me in more ways than I can write in a review. "

I have so far completed 9 out of the 10 recommended sessions and just wanted to review my experience so far. A lower back injury 17 years ago left me with sciatic issues, numbness and pain that affects my sleep, mobility and biomechanics. I have seen at least 20 different osteopaths, chiropractors, physios and acupuncturists over the last 17 years and have been unable to see any consistent improvement or get to the bottom of the issue. Recently a surgeon has confirmed an issue but ruled out surgery due to the odds of improvement being low. This left me quite depressed that I was completely out of options. When I saw that BE now had the UI cube I decided to give it a go as I was so desperate to find something to give me some relief. I honestly did not expect it to help to this extent. I have increased sensation in my pelvis and no longer have the nerve pain keeping me awake at night. My mobility and stability has greatly increased in my workouts and I would go as far to say that my lower back is at least 70 % improved. Considering I have had this issue 17 years I did not expect that. Also bonus my lower abs are more defined.
The best part is it is so easy you don’t have to do anything. I will definitely continue with regular sessions to maintain the progress I have made. I'm so glad I did this for myself

I was initially reluctant to try the UI cube because it was a bit of an investment but after hearing positive things from others I thought I'd give it a go. Sitting on it was a bit of a strange experience at first, reminded me of the feeling you get from a tens machine. It was completely painless. I noticed a difference after just 2 sessions with my pelvic floor getting a little stronger with each session. I did 6 sessions in total and can now sneeze and cough without any leakage. I even jumped on the tramp just to try as I haven't been able to do that without peeing for years. If you have any form of incontinence I'd recommend giving it a go. I didn't think mine was that bad, only having slight stress incontinence when exercising or sneezing with a full bladder but now I don't need to worry about it. It's such a freeing feeling. I was very impressed with the difference the UI cube has made.

The UI Cube is a game changer. After just half of my sessions I noticed a huge improvement. Jumping, skipping, sneezing or any of the like no longer worry me. It has really boosted my confidence and I highly recommend giving the UI Cube a go.

After having three surgeries in a short amount of time on my pelvic floor it left me feeling weakened. But after experiencing these treatments my pelvic floor is feeling so much stronger, bladder control is much better, and the heavy sensation I felt at the end of a
long day is no longer. I highly recommend having these treatments. Most women I speak to sense some form of bladder or pelvic floor weakness, specifically after having children, I would definitely recommend experiencing for yourself. I’m very happy with the results!

I have completed 10 sessions and noticed a difference after just 2 sessions. For me it was more that I needed to strengthen my pelvic floor muscles to have better control of ‘leakage’. I have 3 adult tamariki and I’m 48 years old. In recent years I have noticed big changes in my body and lack of control in my pelvic floor area became more frequent. The first thing I noticed and which seems to be a common theme, is the confidence to sneeze. When I would get sick with the flu/cold, I would have to wear pads because once my coughing fits started or constant sneezing, there was definitely no control. I remember doing skipping in the gym for the first time after a few sessions on the cube, and no issues with leakage!! As for other benefits…let’s just say that my husband has noticed a difference too 😉
